Jammu, 15 Feb.: Today “Classical Fusion” an instrumental musical concert was organised by Hotel Swastik in association with Nirvana Academy a regd. Cultural club, Music Culture, Sharda Sangeet Sadan and Saraswati Sangeet Kala Mandir. Sh. Soujanya Sharma Director Tourism was the chief guest on the occasion. The programme was an initiative to promote art, culture and tourism in the state. Saptak an instrumental fusion band of the state performed live on the occasion. Programme was supported by Dabur India Ltd., Sharda Education Academy, Creamy bites and Talla Jewellers.Programme commenced with the lighting of lamp followed by classical music performance on Santoor by Saptak band. A self composed jugal bandi on santoor and zitar enthralled the audience. Performance in raag Kerwani by Saptak band was higly appreciated by the audience. Rohit Sharma performed on Santoor, Sumit Sharma on Zitar, Karan Malhotra on Tabla and Rovin Kumar on percussions in the Saptak band. To present the rich taste of Duggar food, a Dogri food stall was also introduced by the Swastik Hotel on the occasion.
Sh. Pawan Shastri, Managing Director of Hotel Swastik spoke on the occasion and told us that Hotel Swastik is promoting Dogri culture, tourism, traditional food as well as art in the state. He added that this programme was an initiative to provide platform to the young talented artists of the state.
Sh. Soujanya Sharma Director Tourism appreciated the performance of the artists and also thanked Hotel Swastik for such a wonderful programme. He also appreciated Hotel Swastik’s initiative in promoting tourism and culture in the region.Eminent among the others were Sh. Gurdass Sharma Trustee, Jammu Yatri Bhawan, Sh.
