Nirvana Academy organised NEAC programme at Bhartiya Shiksha Kender Domana


Jammu, 20SEP.2014: Nirvana Academy organised a National Environment Awareness Campaign (NEAC) programme on the theme ‘Biodiversity conservation at Bhartiya Shiksha Kender Domana, Jammu. Sh. Madan Lal Sharma former Member of Parliament was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Sh. Vikrant Dogra Vice President Federation of Indian Blood Donors organisation (FIBDO), Sh. Vikas Dogra Vice President Prayas, Mr. Khalid Lone Social Activist from Kashmir were the Guest of Honour and Sh. Raj Singh MD BSK High School Domana was the special Guest .

Programme commenced with a tree plantation drive in which Sh. Madan Lal Sharma along with the Guests and school students planted saplings of local Medicine followed by lightening of lamp by the Chief Guest.   
Welcome speech was presented by Mrs. Sandhya Pathania Principal of Bhartiya Shiksha Kender School.  Mr. Ashok Pandita and Mr. Sohan Lal delivered lecture on the theme” Biodiversity Conservation” under NEAC.
During the awareness programme a skit on deforestation was presented by the children of Bhartiya Shiksha Kender Domana, choreographed and directed by Nritya Shree Deepak Dutta, which was followed by a Dogri short play “My Love for Birds” written and directed by Tarun Sharma. Poem recital and debate programme on environmental issues were also presented on the occasion. A group song on the theme “save Tress” was the main highlight of the programme. Sh. Madan Lal Sharma appreciated the performance of the participants and distributed certificates among the participants. Nritya Shree Deepak Dutta co-ordinated and anchored the programme. Sh. Hitesh Badyal President Nirvana Academy presented vote of thanks.
