Nirvana Academy organises “Jammu Dance Icons” dance talent programme

25 October Jammu: Nirvana Academy and Dance Revolution Academy jointly organised dance talent programme “Jammu Dance Icons” at Auditorium, Government Polytechnic college Bikram Chowk Jammu. Sh. Bharat Choudhary Senior PDP leader (Jammu East) was the chief guest on the occasion while Mrs. Priya Dutta H.O.D Kathak Fine Arts College, Sh. Vikrant Dogra Vice Chairman FIBDO, Smt. Deepshikha Katal Principal Trikuta deep High School, Sh. Vikas Dogra Vice President Prayas, Sh. Bachan Lal Block President PDP and Sh. Darbari Lal were the guest of honour on the occasion.
More than 150 participants from different schools and institutes took part in different categories of Dance competition. Mr. Shashi Gupta renowned dance choreographer of the state and Priya Sharma Classical dancer of the state adjudged the dance competition.
Programme commenced with the welcome speech of Sh. Hitesh Badyal President Nirvana academy followed by Saraswati vandana presented by the classical dance group of Dance Revolution Academy. A Dogri regional guest performance was highly applauded by the audience. Solo, duet and group dances were also presented on the occasion. 
The programme was organised, choreographed and directed by Sanjeev Mangotra and Anu Bhardwaj well noted dance choreographers of Jammu. 
Sh. Bharat Choudhary while speaking on occasion appreciated the initiative of the organisers and said that these kind of programmes are source of entertainment as well as platform for kids and future generation artists. He also applauded the work of Nirvana Academy and Dance revolution Academy for providing platform to the budding artists of Jammu. Chief guest distributed certificates and Mementoes to the winners of the dance competition. Gurvinder Kour, Kashish Thakyal and Bhavana awarded as best choreographer on the occasion.

Multi talent show “Jalwa 2014” organised


12 October, Jammu: To promote talent and to provide stage to the young artists of Jammu, Pammy Art Academy organized a multi talent show “Jalwa2014” at auditorium Amar Singh Club Jammu. Sh. Bharat Choudhary Senior PDP leader (Jammu East) was the chief guest on the occasion while Sh. Siddharth Sharma Secretary Amar Singh Club, Sh. Umesh Sharma from K.C Biscuits and Sh. Vikrant Dogra Vice Chairman FIBDO were the Guest of honour on the occasion.
The event was organized by Pammy Art Academy in collaboration with Nirvana Academy and Amar Singh club. The event was supported by Surya milk, K.C Biscuits, VD Tech, Prayas and Federation of Indian Blood Donor organizations.
50 participants from different parts of Jammu took part in the programme. Participants took part in different categories of Dance, Singing and Fancy dress competition. Mr. Shashi Gupta renowned dance choreographer of the state and Mrs. Manu Sharma personality developer and educationist adjudged the talent programme.
Programme commenced with the welcome speech of Miss Paramjeet kour Director Pammy art academy followed by fancy dress and solo singing competition. Solo, duet and group dances were also presented on the occasion. Participants from Auspicious Dance Academy, Pulse Dance Institute, Riddhima Dance Academy, Envious dance Academy and SIDM (Smiley) took part in the competition.
Sh. Bharat Choudhary while speaking on occasion said that Music and Dance is a vital form of communication. It’s a source of entertainment as well as platform to put across past, present and future generation artists and dance lover at one plat form. He also congratulated the organizer for providing platform to the budding artists of Jammu.
Prominent among the others were Vikas Dogra Vice President Prayas, Hitesh Badyal President Nirvana Academy, Ashutosh Dubey, Neeraj Sharma Vice President NA, Tarun Sharma Actor Director, Meenakshi Sharma General Secretary NA and Nishant Vaid. Payal Manhas anchored the programme

Nirvana Academy participates in nature camp at Dudu

Jammu/ Dudu: Nirvana Academy – A regd. Cultural Club Jammu participated in NEAC programme in Nature Camp at Dudu. Programme was organised by WWF in collaboration with Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, GOI w.e.f 01-10-2014 to 03-10-2014. Artists of Nirvana Academy took part in the awareness campaign under the theme “Biodiversity Conservation”.  Tarun Sharma Drama Director and Abid Hassan Artist of Nirvana Academy actively took part in the environmental awareness activities under the supervision of Dr. C.M Seth Chairman WWF, Jammu.
Tarun Sharma prepared a Dogri skit on deforestation and save birds in which children of different schools and colleges took part. The skit was presented in the nature camp which was highly applauded by the children participating in the nature camp. A song “ O logo pedh lagao paryavaran sach bannao” was also prepared by the artists of Nirvana Academy during the nature camp which was sung jointly by the
participating children and artists of Nirvana Academy.
Tarun Sharma expressed his views and said that this kind of nature camp is very useful for young generation and we learned brotherhood and nature study in this nature camp. Participants of skit and song were Bandana Bhagat, Yogeshwar, Mahir Bhardwaj, Harman, Abid Hassan, Sourav Sharma and others.
