MUSIC
1. Mukteshi Sharma

presently doing M.A. in Music from GCW Parade and wants to emerge as a professional classical singer and does not want to leave other generes of singing.Mukteshi Sharma is mainly getting training from her father Sh.AshuTosh Magotra who has inherited the styles of Alladiya Khan Sahib's gharana & Kirana gharana from his gurus. She has got training from Sh.V.K.Sambyal. She often gets opportunity to get valuable guidance from her dada guru Prof.B.S.Bali (Disciple of Pt. Dilip Chandra Vedi & Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhem Sen Joshi). She has often adopted certain qualities of above gharanas & in future would be ready to adopt the qualities of other gharanas also. However she doesn't want to remain in the binding of any single gharana. She is developing into an innovative & creative singer. She has been appreciated from her creativity by Great Santoor Mastreo Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma.

2. Sapna Soni

Actress/Performer .Started her career at class 10Th. Done her first stage play named" Nachagi Saari Raat"  in 2002. Having worked for more than 430 serials for different channels like DD Jammu,DD Kashir,Zee punjabi,Ddurdu,dd bharati nd in different langauges like Dogri, Punjabi , Urdu , Hindi , Pahari & gojri . worked in two movies also...namely " Maa ni mildi" nd" kuggi maar duaari" &  Soon i'll be seen in forthcoming movie "teray jeya koi nhi". Approved Drama Artist nd singer from Radio kashmir,jammu and  now working as a producer nd director in a span of 18 years of her career. Ex Alumni of Government College for Women Parade.

3. Anuradha Seth Kohli

B. Com LLB, Trained Kathak & Folk Dance. Her first Stage performance was at the age of 9 .She is  in the profession from last 25 years. Performed at various prestige events  at National and International  level. Associated with J & K academy of Art and Culture & associated with various institution within state and outside as member of Jury.
Won first prize in Classical Dance solo for three years from1991 onwards at University of Jammu. Stood 2nd in Classic Dance and selected for National Level in  Inter Universities Competitions in  1993 at Jabalpur. Participated in Inter University Zonal Competitions  & National Inter University Competitions consecutively in 1994,1995 & 1996 held at Punjab University, Guru Nanak University Amritsar & Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana, Nagpur Kurukshetra and Gulbarga

Chairperson of NGO “SUPPORT” working for the defanged & Creative Self Employed Enterpreunals Co-op.Ltd. Represented the state of J&K with her foreign trainings with the American Red Cross in 2011 and 2014. Also worked with the Elings School of UK for the children with the special needs

5. Aarushi Thakur

Graduate from St Stephens College, University of Delhi Masters from University of Leister, UK & Specialized training in Dramatics from Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London. Member of Shakespeare Society at St Stephens College (2009-11). Adapted and directed Charles Dickens Classic, Great Expectations, Oliver Twist, Akira Kurosawa and Roshomon based on Japanese stories. Also performed in "The year of India in Russia 2009, Frankfurt Theatre festival, 10 National level theatre festivals, National festival with NSD. Have directed various short plays.

6. Mrs. Rashim Anand

a well established name in the field of education today, she comes from a background of educationist family servicing for the cause of education for the past 40 years. Mrs. Rashim Anand is the daughter of Mr. AK Kapoor Chairman of ADASRH Group of Education institutions, a brand name that needs no formal introduction in J&K. In support of its pledge, by celebrating the achievements of women on eve of International Women’s Day today young women of the State were honored with “Young women achiever Awards" at auditorium College for women Parade.

The event was organized by Nirvana academy - A Regd. Cultural Club & Indian Red Cross society Jammu Region in association with Government College for women parade.
The achievers were conferred under three distinguished categories “Young Women Achiever Award” “Honour of Excellence“ & “Certificate of Excellence” for individual excellence and contribution in their respective fields.

Shantmanu Divisional Commissioner was Chief Guest on the occasion who presented Achivers awards to the women in different categories at award function. Mrs Hemla Aggarwal Principal of the College was Guest of Honour on the occasion along with R C Puri Secretary Indian Red Cross Society Jammu region.
As many as 50 young women achievers were honored on the occasion in respective categories. The women who were conferred Young women achiever award & Certificate of excellence includes Sushma Chahuan(IAS), Arunima Sinha (Spirituality), Aarushi Thakur (Drama & Theater), Mukteshi Sharma (Music), Sapna Soni (Film, TV &Entertainment), Anuradha Seth Kohli (Dance), Navneet Kour (Social activist/NGO), Mrs. Rashim Anand (Education), Dr. Neelam Khajuria (Health & wellness), Suneeta Bhagat (RJ/VJ), Shivangi Gupta (Entrepreneur), Bhanu Priya Sharma (Media),Dr Milan Sharma(Painting and Visual Arts) along with Sunita Kargotra (Chief Prosecutor Officer) and Sister Therese Franicis as special outstanding women.

The award of Excellence along with certificate was conferred among Manika Sharma & Palavi Sharma (Sports), Juhi Singh (Drama & Theater), Indu Bala (Music), Neha lalotra (Film, TV &Entertainment) , Kritika Sharma and Tanuja Chahar Chettri (Dance) ,Bushra Hassan, Deepika pandita and Rahat Mir (Social activist/NGO), Gurcharan Kour (Education), Mohua Gupta (Painting) & Divya Gupta in (lifestyle & Fashion)

In his address Shantmanu while congratulating the award winner appreciated the efforts of the organizers for bringing together the women of different field under one umbrella. International Women’s Day encourages us to celebrate what women have achieved in the past; These women are inspirational role models and prove by example that women can achieve everything that men can in careers of their life.

Mrs Hemla Aggarwal in her welcome speech said that it’s a day to recognize women’s economic, political and social achievements; past, present and future who are making a difference in the fight for women empowerment.
The receipt ants of award while speaking on occasion described award as a recognition of their work at age when their contributions and efforts are mostly goes unnoticed. It will help us to re utilize our energies to work with more dedication and commitment to reach at goals set by them in future life.

Hitesh Badyal President Nirvana a while speaking on occasion said this the 2nd event in row to mark the recoginisation of young women achievers & is hopefull that same shall continue in near future. 
The event was supported by FIBDO, Surya Milk, Littile Millennium Play way schools, Darpan Beauty parlour, Mindsacape Educational & Environment Trust, Education Express and Trikuta News Express.
