Nirvana Academy, Information Dept organizes debate-cum-cultural programme

RAMBAN, Feb 13: Nirvana Academy a regd cultural club in collaboration with District Information Center Ramban organized a Debate competition cum cultural programme at Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Banihal, today.


 
Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Ramban, Dr. Romesh Razdan was the chief guest on the occasion and superintendent ITI Mushtaq Ahmed Malik was the guest of honour.


Ruquia Wani adjudged overall best and Showkat Ali and Sajid Ghulam bagged second and third position in the debate competition. As many as 10 trainees were participated in debate competition.


Renowned singer of Banihal Bashir Ahmed Khan and party presented a colourful bonanza which was highly appreciated by the audiences. The participants put their views with regard to the topic in an eloquent manner and highlighted the need of the hour to divert towards self employment. They enumerated that entrepreneurship not only helps in individual employment but also provides employment for the others.


Speaking on the occasion CAHO that Entrepreneurship has emerged over the last two decades as arguably the most potent economic force the world has ever experienced. With that expansion has come a similar increase in the field of entrepreneurship education. The recent growth and development in the curricula and programs devoted to entrepreneurship and new-venture creation have been remarkable. He told that there is a need to think about the employment of youth in future which is day by day becoming grim at a fast rate.


Superintendent of ITI appreciated the effort made by Nirvana Academy Chief Organiser Ramban Tahir Mushtaq and Information Department for conducting the event and request them to organise such events in future for upbringing the children of far flung area of Banihal.
