RAMBAN, Mar 23: To observe World Water Day (WWD) Nirvana Academy a cultural club organized debate competition cum cultural programme to aware the people in Bharatiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) High School, here today.
Zonal Education Planning Officer (ZEPO) Ramban Firdous Ahmed was the chief guest whereas principal BVM High School Pardeep Singh Thakur presided over the function.
A total of 20 students of the school were participated in the competition besides presented a skit on the theme ‘Save Water’.
The first, second and third prize in the competition were won by Palvi Rai Sohana Farooki and Udhayveer Singh respectively.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest said such activities should organized frequently so that the students get aware about the conservation of water. He appreciated the efforts made by Nirvana Academy Chief Secretary Ramban Tahir Mushtaq besides the schools for conducting such events and in future the education cooperate them in conducting such activities.
