Nirvana Academy Celebrates World Music Day

Jammu, 21 June: Nirvana Academy today celebrated World Music day in the premises of Bal Mandir, Amphalla Jammu with the aim to encourage and provide an opportunity to the children of home.
The day was celebrated to mark the 34th world Music day and was supported by Arohi Kala Sangeet Vidhalaya.

The event commenced with the group song performance “Teri Hai zameen Tera Aasma” which was highly appreciated by the audience followed by songs like Ishwar Allaha Tero Naam , Maa , Chithi Na koi Sandesh , Aye Mere pyare Vatan and so on The audience was spellbound with the special performance given by Kuldeep Kumar .

As many as 15 participants sung under the guidance of Sh kuldeep Kuamr Singer and Music composer performed the various songs on the occasion including students from Aarohi Kala Sangeet Vidhalaya and Nirvana Academy. Those who sung on the occasion include Menka, Janvi, Usha, Vidhshi, Ayushi , Amanat, Monika, Dolma , Saloni Pooja , Hari Priya Kunwar Sourav Sonik Aditya. The Participant was accompanied by Sourav on Guitar and Kuldeep on Harmonium.

President Nirvana academy Santosh Sharma while interaction with the children highlighted the importance of this day. She added that Music Day would be nothing without music . It’s a great opportunity for musicians of all ages and there will be plenty of places for you to play music.
The management of the Bal Niketan lauded the efforts of the Academy for organizing such a event in their premises which not only created an awareness but also provided an opportunity to the children of their home in exploring their talent.
All the participants were felicitated with the certificate of participation on the occasion.

Those who were present on the occasion include Meena Gupta, Aruna Gupta, Naveen Gupta, Rajinder Kumar, Renu Dhar, Meenakshi Sharma, Ashutosh, Neeraj Sharma , Shaveta Sharma and Nishant Vaid.
